This is a very interesting read for anyone who has wondered if color blind people can be licensed to fly (answer: yes, and it depends on what colors one can or cannot see in the field, not necessarily what one can detect on an Ishihara plate), and for those who are color blind and thought they were excluded from flying (conclusion: maybe you're not).
